Sometimes simple things work the best. If you are having trouble playing God of War Ragnarok on your console, then a restart should be the first thing you should do. To restart: Press the PlayStation button on the console to open the Quick Menu. Use the D-pad to navigate to and select Restart Console. Press X to confirm.

I'd say dont wait for the PS5, and just get this on PS4 (its 10 bucks cheaper as well;)). Tbh, most complains about performance or bugs i've seen are on PS5. Now, that could simply be because most people who got it on release got the PS5 version, but the game is developed for PS4 in the first place iirc.
