I'd still do the Nod campaign at the very least before playing Kane's Wrath. Scrin campaign is good to do too, but not as important. There's one little plot segment in the Nod campaign of TW which will be fully explained in Kane's Wrath, and I'd advise you did the TW side of that plot segment before doing the KW side.
